How do I cancel my auto-renewal of my Premium subscription?

Important: When you uninstall the app, your subscription won't cancel.

1. Open the Google Play app.
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Payments & subscriptions  Subscriptions.
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
5. Tap Cancel subscription.
6. Follow the instructions.

Tip: If you have a subscription with an app and the app gets removed from Google Play, your future subscription will be canceled. Your past subscriptions will not be refunded.

First: Please note that Apple's policy requires that you cancel your subscription through them directly only. Our Support team cannot cancel Apple subscriptions. 

Before canceling your subscription, please ensure that you are signed in to the same Apple ID with which you originally purchased your Premium subscription.

iOS 12, 13, 14 and up

1. Launch Settings.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap on Subscriptions.
   
4. Tap Betternet.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

NOTE: If Betternet is not listed under your subscriptions, it means that auto-renewal has already been canceled. If you run into any issue or problem while performing this cancellation, please contact Apple. 

How to cancel through the app store on my Mac device:

1. Open the App Store.
2. Click the sign-in button  or your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
3. Click  View Information at the top of the window. You might be asked to sign in.
4. On the page that appears, scroll until you see Manage, then Subscriptions. 
5. Click Edit next to the subscription. 
6. Click Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and it won't renew.  

 

Before proceeding, please be aware that if you are canceling due to a technical issue or need assistance from us regarding anything Betternet-related, please contact us directly from the app. 

Please be aware that the canceling auto-renewal will not automatically provide a refund. You will need to contact us via email or chat for refund inquiries. 

Please note that once you have canceled your Premium auto-renewal, your account will stay active until the current subscription expires. After that, you won't get charged, and your account will revert to Basic status.

IOS:

• On the main menu, tap the 3-bar icon in the top left.
• Scroll down to contact support and tap on that. 
• You will be redirected to chat. Please follow the on-screen prompts after tapping on billing/subscriptions to reach a live agent. 

 

Android:

• On the main menu, tap on the gear icon in the top left.
• Scroll down to contact support and tap on that. 
• You will be redirected to chat. Please follow the on-screen prompts after tapping on billing/subscriptions to reach a live agent. 

Mac: 

• Open the application and tap on the 3-bar icon in the top left.
• Scroll down and click "Contact Support" 
• Your mail app will open. Please contact us from there to proceed with a cancellation and refund. 

Windows: 

• Open the application and click on the 3-bar icon in the top left.
• Click on "Contact support"
• Click on "Send email" and then you will directed to send an email to Betternet for a cancellation and refund.
